Sun Group

This was probably one of the most memorable experiences of my summer in 2025. Around the end of July, I went to Ha Long for a trip and was lucky enough to get a trial position in the Sales and Marketing Department at Sun World Ha Long - one of the largest amusement parks in Vietnam.

During my time there, I had the chance to meet the General Director of Sun World Ha Long, as well as the department heads, deputy managers, and other team members. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always checking in on me and helping me with my work. I even had the opportunity to tour the entire Sun World Ha Long complex, which gave me a full, behind-the-scenes view of how everything operates.

I worked on-site for two days, eating and sleeping in the company’s staff facilities just like a real employee. It was truly a dream experience for a 16-year-old like me - one that I’ll never forget.

After that period, I was allowed to return home and continue working remotely since I had to go back to school. My main task was to propose a new sales strategy to help boost Sun World Ha Long’s revenue.

At first, I had no idea where to start, but fortunately, the deputy head of the department personally guided me and taught me a lot about business and marketing, which truly opened my eyes.

After returning home, I spent time every day researching and coming up with the most effective sales strategies I could. I decided to reclassify the entire customer base, restructure product pricing, and redesign the product packages - in short, I overhauled the entire business plan.

At first, my mentors had to correct my work many times, and I went through countless rounds of revisions. But that process helped me identify and improve my weaknesses, and it taught me how to think like a real professional in the field.

After two months, I finally completed my internship. Even though I only spent a short time working directly with the team, it felt like everyone there had become incredibly close to me.

Over those two months, I truly grew and matured - I got the chance to experience things that I probably wouldn’t have been exposed to for many more years. It was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience.
