Wanderlust
Records 25
“I want to visit every country in the world.”

That was the bio on my first YouTube channel, created ten years ago. I’ve carried that dream - to explore the world - ever since I was little. And that’s exactly why Wanderlust Records 25 was born. It’s a project I founded to connect young people who share the same passion for travel and global discovery.
At first, Wanderlust was meant to be a simple page introducing fascinating destinations, offering interesting facts and unique insights about different places around the world. But over just four months, it grew far beyond that. We attracted over 5,000 regular readers, introduced more than 50 destinations across continents, and most importantly - we actually went on journeys together.
Every trip wasn’t just about fulfilling our wanderlust. It also opened our eyes to the lives of others - curious children in mountain villages, families rebuilding their homes after floods and landslides. Those encounters moved us deeply, and from that empathy came a new idea.
In June 2025, we launched a charity initiative called “Bringing Numbers to the Mountains – Bringing Letters to the Hills.” We collected old computers across Hanoi, setting up donation points citywide to encourage more people to participate. By the end of the campaign, we had gathered 100 used computers. Two months later, under the name of Wanderlust, I reached out to Nga My Secondary School in Thai Nguyen province to donate all of them.
Thai Nguyen isn’t the poorest province, but it faces severe hardship every year. Nestled at the foot of Asia’s great mountain range and exposed to the storms sweeping in from the sea, it often suffers from heavy floods caused by storm afterflows. Every rainy season, the town sinks under water, and when the floods recede, almost nothing remains. That’s why we chose Thai Nguyen - not because it was the easiest, but because it was where help was truly needed.
When we arrived at Nga My School, we had the chance to talk with teachers and students, sharing stories about resilience and teaching them how to use the computers we brought. The school welcomed us with incredible warmth - inviting us to taste local specialties and showing us around the area. Knowing we loved to explore, the principal even took us on a small tour to Nga My Pagoda and the Nga My Cooperative, where local people produce their famous delicacies like sausages and fermented pork rolls.
That day was unforgettable - a perfect blend of travel, learning, and giving back. For me, Wanderlust Records 25 has grown from a childhood dream of exploring the world into something much deeper: a journey to connect people, share stories, and spread kindness across borders.
